THE CAUSE
"LOVE OF THE GAME" & A "PASSION"!
Personally, as an operator and founder of L/3, I never professed to be the best or fastest operator. However, I AM one of the most Loyal and Passionate ones in the world! I believe in Television, Period-and I love Graphics' role in it. As a "Hands-On, Working Mgr.", I stay in the loop! Making the Graphics area easier to understand, operate and manage is what L/3 is about. Clearing-up ambiguous misconceptions plus clarifying instructions, communications and "show pieces" remains a goal on our list of things we Truly believe we CAN and MUST fix - UNIVERSALLY! If WE won't do it, then WHO CAN?!!!

Somewhere on a 40 acre ranch in Texas is someone who made a fortune on Paper Clips. Some people look at an airplane and see a massive craft. WE see it as 40,000 RIVETS. The little things that tie-and hold the major parts of your show together is what we live for… those pretty little "Rivets"! They help tell a story, and sometimes are overlooked. However, without them in your show, you may as well be doing "radio". YOU do what YOU love… and let us take care the part of your show that WE love! Thank God SOMEONE is obsessed over the little things in life. For, strung together tastefully, they become a
big story!

TELEVISION THROUGH-AND THROUGH
After many years of Television in many markets across the country for NEWS & PRODUCTION, the founder Moved from Chicago to Atlanta to accept a position with Turner Production. Quickly, Sports interaction with TNT & TBS came into view. Coordinating Winter Olympics graphics with Lillihammer, France. A passport was needed to facilitate launching new channels such as TNT/Asia Pacific in China and for Training pupils for HBO Ole in Caracas, Venezuela. As "Graphics Operations Projects Supervisor for Turner Entertainment Networks" launching and helping shape new networks such and Cartoon Network & the very stylized Turner Classic Movies allowed for observing the need to standardize many aspects of how a network must achieve and maintain continuity. Many operators have been trained and mentored, and the personal methods were even spread to our sister networks of CNN, CNN Financial Network-New York & TNT/Latin America. When ONE person is good at graphics, that's wonderful. But when you can make an Army of people good, THAT'S progress.

An elite group of nerdlings and cool cats form a coalition of Operators, Designers, Coordinators and Producers. This squad has a mission: Destroy the tedium and boredom of non-descript show graphics and replace them with Sparkle, Flash, and Attitude! Moreover, this change must not only be HOT!, but it MUST be able to be reproduced by almost ANY decent operator and coordinator team in the 'Biz.
